Dublin, California, in Alameda county, is 4 miles NW of Pleasanton, California (center to center) and 19 miles E of Oakland, California. It’s a suburban city and is part of the Tri-Valley. The municipality is situated in the east portion of the San Francisco Bay Area. Franklin Resources, Sybase, Pacific Bell- Advanced Solution, Zeiss Humphrey Systems and Arlen Ness are located in Dublin. The Parks Reserve Forces Training Area also known as Camp Parks is an important part of the Western United States’ Army. The Tri-Valley area features prominent business parks and is home to major corporations. Dublin is situated on the Calaveras Fault. It has an ethnically diverse population.
